Mark DeMuro lives and works in New York City. He is a Founder and Director of the Beaux Arts Foundation and The Downtown Arts Club. In addition to making art, he has over twenty years experience working as a private art dealer, curator, lecturer and consultant. He has advised collectors, dealers, galleries, and corporations on building collections and making acquisitions of Modern and Contemporary art.


Mark DeMuro has sold works by Andy Warhol, Picasso, Marcel Duchamp, Matisse, Degas, Bonnard, Signac, deKooning, Milton Avery, Mark Rothko, Marsden Hartley, Jean Michel Basquiat, David Hockney, Ed Ruscha, Sol Lewitt, Louise Bourgeois, Alexander Calder, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Claes Oldenburg, Keith Haring, Miro, Chagall, Yayoi Kusama, Gilbert & George, Roy Lichtenstein, Sam Francis, James Rosenquist, Wayne Thiebaud, William Wegman, Christo and others.

His work has been featured in Figaro Japan, New York’s Hottest Young Artists; L’Art Vivant, Paris; Bomb Art Quarterly, N.Y; New York Arts Journal; The Arsenic Lobster Poetry Journal, HG TV, and The Washington Times. He has received the Dean’s Purchase Award from the University of Miami, the Ludwig K. Vogelstein Foundation Grant for Painting, and a Dow Material grant. He has presented a filmed on-line lecture at the New Oxford Academy for Project Entropia.
